Whether delivered remotely or locally, Career Advising services are customized to ensure the information, guidance, and tools provided address the specific needs of the partner.

Dwellworks Career Advising services include:

Pre-Decision Support: Addresses questions and concerns that the partner may have about a prospective destination including salary information, cost of living assessment, overview of the local job market and community, and information about companies or organizations that may fit the partner's career goals

Job Search Assistance: Provides access to the Career Advising online portal with searchable, location-specific information, development and creation of self-marketing materials (resume, cover letters, 30-second commercial), job market and industry information, job search strategies, coaching on essential job search skills and techniques, and more

Professional Development: Offers career development, civic, social and volunteer opportunities, and/or continuing education support to keep the partner connected to similar professionals and stay current in his/her field of expertise when they are not able or interested to work at the destination location (e.g. due to visa restrictions or the temporary nature of the assignment)
