Pre-Decision Support

A key consideration before accepting an assignment or job offer in a new location, is the impact the relocation will have on the career of the partner. Given the conditions of the economy and housing market of recent years, the partner's career has become ever important in weighing the relocation decision.  While our destination services ensure that the employee and family become familiar with the new community, our Pre-Decision Support specifically addresses the career related questions and concerns of the partner.

After completing our Career Advising Intake, a Dwellworks Career Advisor - an expert in the destination area - will provide personal and customized support to the partner, including:

• Overview of the local job market and community
• Information about local companies/organizations
• Cost of living assessment
• General salary information

The partner will be informed about the job market in the new location allowing the family to make an educated decision about the relocation. The employer will benefit from the pre-decision service as an effective recruiting and retention tool.
