Destination Services
Providing the perfect relocation experience is our top priority. Whether it’s the first time or the tenth time, the relocation experience can be both exhilarating and exhausting. Our goal is to manage your transition to China with as little stress as possible. The Dwellworks Experience includes the friendly expert service of a local lifeline - a Destination Services Consultant (DSC). With our online tools and market knowledge, we support relocating families, their employers and relocation management companies with the information and assistance they need.
Visa & Immigration
China's immigration requirements change frequently and the process can be frustrating and bureaucratic. Our team of visa and immigration specialists take care of all work and resident permit applications, processing, reminders, and renewals for our clients, enabling them to focus more on settling in to their new home. Our services include immigration process management and oversight, document preparation and translation, and assisting with registration formalities, including accompaniment to required medical checks.
Intercultural Training
It's no surprise that Chinese culture differs greatly from others. Our Intercultural Training courses practically address situations that expatriates are likely to encounter while living and working in China. We use online assessments to determine the aspects of Chinese culture most likely to affect each participant, allowing us to create customized learning plans for each individual. All courses are taught by a professional intercultural trainer with many years of experience working with expats in China.
Real Estate Services
Finding suitable housing forms the basis of any successful relocation. Working with Ark Properties, our internal housing division out of Shanghai, we are able to understand and anticipate housing challenges throughout China. All clients receive a detailed property viewing list which has been carefully designed to meet company and assignee requirements, increasing the chances of completing a successful home search sooner. We support our clients through the entire housing process, which includes a needs analysis, property viewings, negotiation, contract overview and translations, lease-signing and payment notices, and check-in.
