As global corporations continue to make diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives a top talent management and strategy priority, how can we in the talent mobility industry ensure that DEI in principle is also DEI in practice?  

At Dwellworks, we integrate DEI initiatives into everything we do. From volunteering and giving back to our communities, to the morals that go along with our Elements of Engagement, to thoughtful hiring of all our talent  - especially our Destination Services Consultants, Intercultural Training Consultants, and the corporate housing partners in our network - we aim to make the global mobility space one that feels welcoming and accessible for all.

Our Director of Global Accounts, Lynda Lescault, started out in the industry as a Destination Services Consultant. She met with clients from all types of unique backgrounds, cultures, origin countries, and ethnicities - and it was her role to get them in the most comfortable home and neighborhood in the midst of their relocation.

Looking back now, Lynda says she saw firsthand the impact DEI practices can make in this field. Hiring DSCs who look like the clients they are serving can immediately create a level of trust between the Destination Services Consultant and the relocating individual.
