Bob Rosing, Executive Chairman at Dwellworks/Dwellworks Living is also an adjunct instructor at Cleveland State University (CSU), where he earned his MBA in Finance. A former board member of the CSU Foundation and advocate for higher education in the Cleveland community, Bob taught “The World of Business,” an introductory course covering all aspects of global business, at CSU in Spring 2025.
Bob noted the purpose of the course was to convey an overview of all the fundamentals of business –-strategic planning, product design, marketing, sales, customer service, operational management, human resources, accounting and finance, and technology and innovation -- to help students gain an understanding of how business functions are interconnected and. most importantly, how people collaborate for success.

Bob Rosing and his business partner founded Dwellworks in Cleveland in 2007. Building on his experience as the president of a relocation management company and his previous history in relocation operations and mortgage banking, Bob’s vision was to create a business to manage and deliver essential support services for relocation management companies and their corporate clients more cost efficiently and with greater quality consistency than they could provide on their own.

Starting from a focus on needs for specialized services in the US, Dwellworks has expanded its coverage and range of services on a global scale. In building the business, Bob, CEO James Conigliaro, and the Dwellworks team of leaders and subject matter experts have created the type of organization that became an ideal use case for understanding “The World of Business.”

Students who took the “World of Business” class with Bob Rosing had the opportunity to learn about entrepreneurship and basic business practices from an innovative leader in global mobility.
As Bob shared, there was mutual benefit between teacher and students. “One of my motivations for teaching this class was to stay connected to emerging trends in business practices and to the interests and skills of these students. They’re global, they’re skilled, and they are cutting edge users of the latest technology. Bob leveraged our internal talent including members of Dwellworks operations, accounting, business development, and human resources teams. Our recruiting experts taught a module of the class, explaining the basics of resume preparation, presenting yourself as a candidate, and the ins and outs of core human resources functions like recruiting, onboarding, training, and career development. Bob also incorporated outside experts in his curriculum. Students who participated in his “World of Business” class were introduced to innovators and business owners, including the CEO of an award-winning digital marketing and design firm and an inventor/entrepreneur in the early stages of launching a new product and business.

Sharing his business acumen with business school students, Bob took the opportunity to reinforce the purpose and value of global workforce mobility and business travel.
