What is it like to be a Destination Services Consultant?
As a Dwellworks Destination Services Consultant, no two days are alike, offering variety and excitement in your role. Each day adjusts according to the unique needs of the relocating employee, ensuring that your role remains dynamic and engaging. On some days, you might start by having a phone or email conversation to discuss an upcoming visit, providing valuable insights on what to expect, or conducting a thorough needs assessment to determine what assistance the individual or family requires. This could involve gathering information on the local rental market, identifying neighborhoods that align with their preferences, or offering advice on schools, transportation, and community resources.
On other days, your support may be more hands-on and personal, with in-person meetings for area orientations, school tours, or visits to rental properties. You’ll act as a knowledgeable guide, helping your customer explore potential homes, become familiar with local amenities, and learn about everything their new city has to offer. These interactions allow you to establish a meaningful connection with the individuals or families you’re assisting, making their transition as smooth as possible.

As a Destination Services Consultant, you will:
- Showcase Your City: Give newcomers a personalized tour and introduction to the area
- Assist with Housing: Help find and secure the perfect place to live and provide options for utilities
- Guide School Choices: Provide guidance on local school enrollment
- Facilitate Essential Services: Assist with opening bank accounts, obtaining government identification cards, and getting a driver’s license
